Cardi B and FKA Twigs — whose North American tour scheduled for this month was canceled due to unspecified visa issues — will headline the Ladyland Festival in New York, taking place at the outdoor Under the K Bridge venue in Brooklyn during Pride Month on June 27-28.
Produced by Ladyfag and the Bowery Presents, the festival also features Pabllo Vittar, Eartheater, Cobrah, Sukihana, DJ sets by Hercules & Love Affair, VTSS, and Danny Tenaglia, among many more — the full lineup appears below. Fans can register for presale access now; festival presales begin on Thursday, April 17th, and tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 18that 11:00 a.m. ET.
A rep for Twigs confirmed to Variety that the artist’s visa issues have been resolved but did not provide further information. The singer, whose excellent latest album, “Eusexua,” was released on Atlantic Records in January, was also forced to cancel her appearances at the Coachella Festival.
The announcement would seem to indicate that rescheduled tour dates are on the way.
“I’m devastated to share the news that due to ongoing visa issues i am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of April across North America, including Ceremonia and Coachella,” she posted on April 4. “It pains me to say this because i am so excited to bring you a creation that i have poured my soul into and i believe is amongst my strongest work and i know this news impacts so many of you that have already made plans and spent money in order to see these shows. I promise that I am working to reschedule the affected dates as quickly as possible. For headline shows, please refer to your point of purchase for details and refund information. Past performers at the festival include Christina Aguilera, Eve, Tinashe, 070 Shake, Sophie, Honey Dijon and Tokischa; last year, Madonna made an appearance as well.
