Concerts held at Madison Square Garden (MSG) are known for their immersive experience and energetic audience. However, one such show, attended by a couple to celebrate their wedding anniversary, turned into their biggest nightmare as it claimed one of their lives. Paul Kueker, a 51-year-old father of two from Niantic, Connecticut, tragically died after falling from an upper balcony during a Goose concert at MSG on June 20, 2026. He was there with his wife to make their 25th anniversary memorable when the tragedy occurred.
Amid the investigation, details of Paul being intoxicated when he leapt to his death surfaced. Following that, a witness spoke up, making some shocking revelations regarding Paul striking him and then falling to a bloodied end.
A witness to Paul Kueker’s death made chilling descriptions of his final moments
It was reported earlier that Paul Kueker struck a few people in the audience while falling from the 150-foot-high balcony at the Manhattan concert. One of the concertgoers who “got hit” by the Connecticut-based dad shared some nerve-racking details about how they remembered the incident. The unnamed individual claimed to have been struck by Paul’s falling body and then suddenly found themself standing in a pool of blood. They called that the body hit their friend as well, who was seated right next to them. As the two of them tried to figure out what they had been hit with, the witness saw Paul’s lifeless body. They stated
“His [Paul Kueker’s] head was like a foot to the left of my shoes. Within a few seconds, I was standing in blood. That’s why I’m trying to figure out what hit me…And my friend was one seat further away and got hit by something, so I want to figure out what that was, too.”

The witness was traumatised after realising what exactly happened. They took time to process the situation and were left in shock and terror once it hit them. According to the witness, besides them and their friend, a few other concertgoers were also struck during the tragic leaping of Paul at Goose’s June 20, 2026, concert. The band, however, continued to perform as they were allegedly unaware of the incident at that time. Later, after their show, they issued a statement expressing their grief over the devastating incident.

Paul Kueker was intoxicated when he jumped to his death
Paul Kueker took a head-first dive from a balcony in the 300-section and landed on fellow concertgoers below, some of whom were also injured, according to reports. On the other hand, a source revealed that Paul Kueker appeared to be intoxicated and under the influence before he took the leap over a 4-foot glass barrier. Paul was at the concert with his wife, Kristen Lomme Kueker, who was seated in a three-section area away from him. In the midst of the show, he told her that he was going to the bathroom when he leapt to his death.

Paul Kueker’s wife was informed about his death only after the police arrived to investigate the incident
Kristen Lomme Kueker was unaware of what had happened to her husband until the officials told her. Paul Kueker was an executive director of operations for the energy management company, Smartcon Solutions, and the officers recently revealed that an investigation is ongoing to determine the actual cause of Paul’s death. According to the officials, a toxicology report was awaited, which would determine whether or not Paul was actually under the influence when he took the horrifying leap from the elevated section of MSG during the Goose concert.
