Famous Pakistani influencer and TV host, Mathira has publicly slammed Bado Badi maker and internet star, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan. He had come on her show named The 21mm Show, and she accused him of physically exploiting her and of his inappropriate behaviour. In a viral clip from Chahat’s end, he held her hand while she looked uneased. Mathira publicly spoke about the incident and how she felt uncomfortable in front of Chahat.
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan gets slammed by Mathira
As seen in the viral clip, Chahat was seen hugging and holding Mathira’s hand without her consent. She looked uncomfortable but smiled and posed for pictures with him. Mathira then slammed Chahat’s actions and shared that he released the clip without her consent, condemned his act. Mathira said the clip was shot without her knowledge and she was not fine with the video being released without her approval. In her words:
“Being a woman, yes, I was very uncomfortable because I don’t do this, I don’t hug people. Why did they post it [the video] without my permission? I don’t understand. I am very much disappointed. I am a bold personality, but that doesn’t mean you hug me, or put your hand on my back if you see me. I don’t think any sane person would do this.”
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has not yet deleted the video
Mathira, going ahead in the video, said that she and her team had messaged him to remove it, but he hasn’t deleted it, nor has he apologised. She has been very disheartened. Mathira even called out netizens and said people often wonder why others are rude. When one is polite and respectful to someone, they start crossing boundaries and she did learn her lesson. Mathira also added that she knows how to show respect to someone older than her, but it is often ignored. Expressing her frustration she added:
“I didn’t expect someone to touch me, as that’s not normal behaviour, and I was shocked. I thought he wouldn’t post the video, but he did. It’s sad that people think I don’t have feelings and treat me like a robot. Crossing boundaries is never acceptable! That was an extremely uncomfortable moment for me, and all I wanted was to leave.”

He was a part of the Lahore cricket team when the 1983-84 season of the Quaid-e-Azam trophy had taken place. He had played two top matches and had made 16 runs in three innings. When Chahat moved to the UK, he also played club cricket for 12 years. His contribution towards local cricket was immense.
