Ashneer Grover, the founder of BharatPe rose to fame with the first season of Shark Tank India. With his unfiltered opinions, he often would grab the headlines, and this continued. Recently, Ashneer slammed Salman Khan for bashing him on his show, Bigg Boss 18. Well, it was Uorfi Javed, who didn’t sit quietly and ended up throwing a subtle challenge to the famous entrepreneur.
Uorfi Javed bashed Ashneer Grover for slamming Salman Khan
Ashneer Grover recently arrived at NIT Kurukshetra, wherein he was seen talking to the audience by addressing Salman Khan’s comments on him on Bigg Boss 18. Ashneer indirectly said that Bhaijaan took ‘faltu ke pange’. He also dismissed the actor’s claims of not even knowing his name despite working as a brand ambassador for his company. Well, it was Uorfi who further blasted Ashneer for his comment. She shared the clip on her IG story and asked him to say the exact same thing on Salman Khan’s face. Uorfi reacted to Ashneer calling himself as Salman’s competition by saying:
“Bas ab ye Salman k samne bol k dikha! This guy Salman’s competition?”
What exactly Ashneer Grover said about Salman Khan?
While being at NIT Kurukshetra, Ashneer Grover said that Salman Khan, without any reason, created competition by taking the challenge out of nothing. He also added that he went on the show by maintaining peace when he was invited to the show. Ashneer further claimed that one shouldn’t say that they never even heard the former’s name or never met him, just for the sake of creating drama. He questioned being invited to the show when the host didn’t even know his name.
During the same conversation, Ashneer Grover hinted at Salman Khan not being honest with his claims of not knowing his name or meeting him. He said that Salman was the brand ambassador of his company, and it could never happen that the actor didn’t meet him, as everything that happened in his company had to go through him.
When Uorfi Javed clapped back at Ashneer Grover for commenting on her choice of clothes
It was back in 2023, when an FIR was lodged against Ashneer Grover and his wife, Madhuri Grover over Rs. 81 crore fraud case. Well, it was Uorfi, who then took to her IG handle and slammed Ashneer for his earlier comment on her and her dress choice. Ashneer had said, “Kaun bandi hai woh Uorfi Javed, kya naam hai uska? Celebrity toh woh bhi hai. Kabhi woh jeans neeche phene ki jagah upar phen ke aa jayegi. Toh uska koi matlab nahi hai.” To give a befitting reply to Ashneer, Uorfi shared the fraud case’s report and penned:
“Or inka ‘core’ hai ‘crore’ ka fraud karna, tabhi toh yeh celebrity hai.”
When Salman Khan called out Ashneer Grover on Bigg Boss 18
When Ashneer Grover arrived On Bigg Boss 18, Salman Khan confronted him for his false claims. For the unversed, Ashneer said in a podcast that Salman asked Rs. 7.5 crore for collaborating with his brand as a brand ambassador, and he even refused to negotiate. The former shark also claimed that Salman even refused to take photos with him despite being linked to his brand. When Ashneer arrived on the actor’s show, Salman confronted him by stating that he doesn’t care about the false statements but a few of them are misleading. He also said that he doesn’t even know Ashneer’s name.
