Eiza Gonzalez is looking back at her time on the children’s program Sesame Street.
The 35-year-old actress was on just one episode of Plaza Sésamo, the Mexican version of the long-running series when she was just five years old.
During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, Eiza recalled how her time was cut short as she got fired from the job.

“I was on Sesame Street for a blink of an eye because I got kicked out,” she told guest host Brooke Shields. “It was my first ‘getting fired’ moment.”
“I was a hyperactive child and I also liked to rile up people. Like, I was a complete menace,” Eiza noted. “I made sure to rile up the entire kid team of children. I convinced them to break into the office and they had a mock-up of the entire set, and we were jumping on it and we broke it.”
“It was me and I got completely fired from my first job because I was a complete menace. My mom said, ‘You can’t do this for a living. You are just so naughty,’” she said.
