But, recently, his fans were left worried after reports of his wife, Sonali Sood’s accident made headlines. His team confirmed that she was doing well, but fans were curious about her health. Recently, Nagpur Hospital, where Sonali was admitted, stated about the same.
Nagpur Hospital revealed Sonali Sood and her sister are ‘doing well’ after their accident
Sonali Sood was travelling with her sister and nephew when they met with an accident on March 24, 2025. They were rushed to Max Hospital in Nagpur, and recently, the hospital issued a statement giving an update about Sonali and others. They revealed that Sonali, her sister and nephew were conscious when they were brought to the emergency department and her nephew was discharged after first aid. It read:
“Mrs Sonali Sood, her sister and nephew were brought to the Emergency Department of Max Hospital, Nagpur, at approximately 10.30 pm last night. They had allegedly been in a road traffic accident. All three patients were conscious upon arrival and had stable vital signs.”
The hospital shared that Sonali is recovering well after the incident, and they thoroughly checked if she had sustained any internal injuries after the accident. However, she only received bruises during the incident and was treated by the doctors. Still, she and her sister were kept under observation for a while. The statement included:
“They had sustained multiple abrasions and bruises and were thoroughly evaluated for any internal injuries, none of which were found. Her nephew was discharged after first aid. Mrs Sonali Sood and her sister remain under observation and are recovering well. Their condition is stable.”

Sonu Sood’s team had initially confirmed that Sonali had met with an accident, and the actor rushed to be by her side when he received the news. But he wasn’t available to talk with the media. Later, the Fateh actor spoke to India Today about his wife’s condition and admitted that she had miraculously escaped the situation. Also, he expressed his gratitude towards authorities and requested privacy while sharing a post on X that read:
“Grateful for the love and concern. Sonali is doing fine, and we’re thankful for the quick response of the authorities and medical team”.
How did Sonali Sood meet with an accident?
As per a report from HT, Sonali Sood’s accident occurred around 10 pm on Monday when she was travelling with her sister and nephew to Byramji Town from Nagpur airport. Their car rammed into a truck from behind on the Wardha Road Viaduct bridge when the car in front of them overtook a slow-moving truck. However, the airbags prevented serious injuries. The police in Sonegaon entered the incident, but no complaint has been filed due to the absence of a complainant.
