Khadiyah Lewis, known to fans as “KD” from ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,’ has tragically passed away at the age of 44. Her brother, Jamaal Lewis, exclusively told The Shade Room that she passed on May 30, 2025, though the cause remains undisclosed. Additionally, he announced plans for a Zoom memorial service on June 14 to celebrate her life. In a heartfelt message, Jamaal expressed the family’s grief and requested privacy during this difficult time.
“This has been an extremely emotionally devastating time. All prayers, condolences, and well wishes are sincerely appreciated,” he said.
Who Was Khadiyah Lewis?
Y’all may remember Khadiyah “KD” Lewis from her unforgettable run on ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’. Sis first popped up in season 3 as Yung Joc’s real estate agent and assistant, but quickly made waves when their relationship seemingly turned romantic in season 4. And, off-screen, Khadiyah was that girl. She was a certified boss running multiple businesses, including being a real estate agent. Her sharp mind and confidence earned her respect both on and off the show, and her fanbase stayed loyal through it all.
Born March 31, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia, Khadiyah graduated from North Springs High and went on to rep hard for Florida A&M University. From there, she built a thriving career as a tax and business consultant, mentoring others and pushing her community forward. She aimed to give back to her community through a mentorship program, a book, and a speaking tour. Her family plans to lay her to rest in her hometown of Oklahoma City on June 14.
