During the conversation, she spoke about the speculation around her dating Ajay Devgn. The actress, who has great respect and admiration for the Tanhaji actor, shared:Â
“I was linked to a lot of my co-stars back then. Some may be true, but many are not. They were even trying to link me up with Ajay Devgn.”
Ajay Devgn, who made his debut in the early 90s, was already a star by the 2000s, and their dating rumours soon went viral. But Esha explained that her bond with Ajay is different and beautiful. She loves and respects the actor who worked with her in films like Yuva, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, Kaal, Insan, Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, and Cash. However, the actress admitted that the dating rumours about them had made things weird. Revealing the cause behind those fake rumours, she said:Â
“There were a lot of stories cooked up. Maybe because we were doing a lot of films together at that time.”

The actress, who has been co-parenting her daughters, Radhya and Miraya, shared that she has tried her best to ensure their separation doesn’t affect their kids’ well-being. She highlighted how one has to keep one’s ego aside and unite with one’s ex regarding one’s kids. Sharing her views, the Dhoom actress mentioned:Â
“At the end of the day, we are parents to these beautiful kids. Let’s give them the best and that’s when I think, when you decide to do that, when you are like that, the other person… he or she has to melt, if possible. And you change the roles. And you co-parent. For your kids, you have to be a unit. That unit can’t break. Maybe the other unit has broken, but for your kids, it should be that one unit. I feel it is very difficult for many but if you try, I think, keep trying. Don’t give up on that.”
