Halle Berry is opening up about not doing interviews for several years.
The 59-year-old actress shared in a new interview that headlines about her personal life caused her to retract and stop doing much press as it was often the same thing being asked all the time.

“After my third divorce, people started to say, ‘What’s wrong with her? She’s crazy. She can’t keep a man,’” she told The Cut. “And I would always argue, ‘Who says I want to keep a man if he’s not the right man?’”
“I’m in the best relationship I have ever had,” Halle added, referring to fiancé Van Hunt. “I pretty much stopped doing interviews for a decade because I got tired of the same old story. It was always: ‘Poor Halle — Unlucky in Love Again.’”
She was then asked if she wanted to come up with her own headlines.
“Hmm. ‘Halle Berry Is Not a Damsel in Distress,’” she said before pausing. “‘Halle Berry Is Not a Victim of Failed Relationships.’”
Another longer pause happened, and she added, “‘Halle Berry Never Said It’s Anyone Else’s Fault.’”
