Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput tragically passed away at his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020, at just 34. Days earlier, his manager, Disha Salian died under mysterious circumstances on June 8, sparking nationwide speculation. Five years later, Disha’s father, Satish Salian, filed a petition alleging attempts to suppress the investigation and rejecting claims of suicide. Now, Sushant’s cousin, Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu is demanding a fresh probe into Disha’s death, alleging it’s directly linked to the late actor’s mysterious demise.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s cousin hints at connection between Disha and Sushant’s death
Disha Salian’s father, Satish Salian, filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, demanding an FIR against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Aaditya Thackeray. Amid all these, Sushant Singh Rajput’s cousin, Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu, spoke to Republic TV about the same. Neeraj agreed with Satish Salian’s claims, asserting that both Disha and Sushant’s murders were connected. He shared:
“Thackeray government tried to suppress the issue and stop the investigations. Disha’s murder is linked with Sushant’s murder. If a person falls from the 12th floor, there would be blood around the body but there was no blood. It means that she was silently murdered. We were asking for an investigation continuously, now that the govt has changed we will urge them to reopen the case and get the truth in front of us. Disha Salian’s father has come through, he was pressurised to stay silent but finally, he has come out and spoken openly about the case.”
Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu emphasised the need for a thorough and transparent investigation. He pointed out that the previous government allegedly tried to suppress the truth. Referring to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader, Aaditya Thackeray, who has consistently denied any involvement in the case, Neeraj stated:
“If Aditya Thackeray is involved and it comes to light then he should get the strictest punishment possible. Even Sushant said that some big names were involved and he feels threatened by the situation. This is such a sad thing that the Bihar police went there and the IPS officer was kept captive by the Mumbai police and the government. Now that the double engine govt is here we expect and hope they will reopen the investigation and will let us know the truth.”
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father breaks his silence on the case
Sushant’s father, KK Singh, also broke his silence, restating his belief that Sushant could not have died by suicide and demanded the CBI share its findings. Sushant’s family continues to call for justice, claiming that his death was not a suicide but a murder with political cover-ups involved. Speaking to ANI, KK remarked that Satish did the right thing by moving the court. He said:
“I don’t know his reasons and motivation for moving the court, but what he has done is right and if through this we can get a conclusion on whether it was a suicide or murder, and in this Sushant’s case can also be known on what happened.”
