Khushi Kapoor recently sat down for a candid chat with Siddharth Kannan, during which she opened up about her wedding and marriage plans. The actress revealed that she had been dreaming of having a grand wedding ever since her childhood. However, Khushi’s marriage plans are nothing like her sister, Janhvi Kapoor’s, and she made sure to clarify that by saying:
“She said she wants to live in Tirupati and wear mogras in her hair and do champi on her husband’s head and have her children eat on banana leaves.”
Khushi, who had always been fascinated with the idea of marriage and even played games involving weddings with her childhood friends, stated that she was a ‘Bombay girl’ through and through. Khushi further mentioned that she envisioned her father, Boney Kapoor, staying in the same building as she and her husband after her marriage. The actress sees herself living with her husband, two kids, and many dogs.
Coming back to how she imagined her future, Khushi stated that it was similar to her sister’s. She said that she was a ‘Bombay girl’ and wished for her father, Boney Kapoor, to stay in the same building as her after her marriage. The actress visualized living with her family, which included her husband, two kids, and many dogs, but chamois are a strict no-no. Khushi can be quoted as saying:
“No, that is for her (Janhvi). Main kuch alag kar lungi (I will do something different).”

During an episode of Starry Nights with Komal Nahata, Khushi’s Kapoor’s sister, Janhvi Kapoor opened up about how she envisioned her married life in the future. The actress gushed her plans and painted quite the picture as she said:
“I have this plan of eventually getting married and settling down in Tirumala, Tirupati, with my husband and my three kids. And we’ll eat every day on banana leaves and hear like ‘Govinda, Govinda.’ And I’ll have mogras in my hair, listen to Mani Ratnam music in the morning, tel champi on my husband in his lungi.”

On the professional front, Khushi Kapoor is gearing up for her debut on the silver screen with Loveyapa. The film, in which she stars opposite Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, is slated for a Valentine’s week release, hitting theatres on February 7, 2025. The couple has been busy promoting the Advait Chandan directorial in order to build up anticipation for the same. Janhvi Kapoor, on the other hand, is busy shooting her romantic film, Param Sundari, in Kerala. She will be co-starring with Sidharth Malhotra in the movie, which is set to hit theatres on July 25, 2025.
