Mahira Sharam later reacted to this buzz. By taking to her IG handle, she penned a note, wherein she asked people to put an end to her link up with the cricketer, as she is not dating anyone. Mohammed Siraj, too, took to his IG handle and ended the rumours for once and all. He requested the paps to stop questioning around him, as all the speculations were untrue and baseless. However, he deleted the IG story within just 15 minutes of posting it. With a hope for the buzz to end, Mohammed Siraj penned:
“I request paparazzi’s to stop asking questions around me. It is completely untrue and baseless. I hope this ends.”

Mohammed Siraj and Mahira Sharma’s dating buzz has been rife for a long time. A source has earlier revealed to HT that the couple had been trying to keep their relationship hush-hush and they had been trying to know each other for a couple of months. Replying to the same, the actress said that she is the kind of person who never reacts to any of the buzz be it true or false, but she is not dating anyone for that matter. Later, Mahira’s mom also reacted to the same. Talking to Times Now, Mahira’s mom said that her daughter is a celebrity, and people can link her to anyone, and questioned if people should believe anything that they hear.

Later, their bond kept growing, and in 2023, they ended their relationship for the reasons best known to them.
