MrBeast fans are calling out Las Vegas hotel Resorts World for a disappointing “experience” that has left many feeling upset and angry… and the YouTube star is promising to make it up to his fans.

Back in January, the hotel announced a partnership with MrBeast (aka Jimmy Donaldson) for the new “MrBeast Experience,” which was billed as a three-day event taking place across April 13 to 15.

Anyone who booked a three-night stay at the hotel would receive a MrBeast “mystery bag” that included limited-edition merch and goodies, with one bag containing a $10,000 prize. The Hollywood Reporter noted that the event would include “on-site activations and immersive experiences across the Resorts World property and in some of its restaurants.”

While only fans who stayed in the hotel for the three-night stay were eligible to receive a mystery bag, it was advertised that the experience would be open to all visitors.

When the event was announced, Resorts World Las Vegas exec Ronn Nicolli said in a statement, “We’re thrilled to partner with MrBeast to bring a new immersive experience to the property. It’s special and unexpected and delivers on our commitment to create unforgettable experiences. We look forward to welcoming his fans to create lasting memories at our property.”

So, what happened?

Fans on social media have been calling out Resorts World and MrBeast as they say there have been no activations offered. People have also said that the “mystery bag” was filled with clothing in random sizes that can be purchased from MrBeast‘s website, with some items even listed at deep discounts right now.

The TikTok page @RandomRecess has been documenting the whole three-day event. On Day 2, they reported, “So far nothing but a box of chocolates. No communication and no activations.”

On Day 3, many of the attendees had a group meeting with Resorts World executives and videos of frustrated people have been posted to TikTok.

Someone on Reddit wrote, “I was there for it. Nothing happened for the first two entire days – the welcome gift was a box of chocolate bars and the mystery bag was four shirts in random sizes (two XXS, one M, one L), a pair of XXL shorts, and a hat. Nobody at RW had a clue what else was going on. It feels like the employees were only told about the gift, but nobody at the restaurants knew about the ‘activations’ or any schedule of events (which there weren’t any). It was advertised as an ‘immersive experience’ but aside from a gift bag and a channel on the TV showing the MrBeast logo when you turned it on, it was a flop. They offered us a $50 pool credit on day three (which we didn’t bring swimsuits so we didn’t use) and a $50 credit to their sports bar tonight, which is 21+ and we have a kid with us so that was out too. Ended up just leaving this morning.”

That being said, fans are saying that MrBeast‘s team has been reaching out to attendees in hopes of making things right. It’s being reported that fans are being offered a trip to MrBeast‘s studio.

“MrBeast is trying to make it right. Resorts World, not so much,” @RandomRecess said in a video posted on Tuesday night.

MrBeast tweeted to a fan on Tuesday, “Hey! This definitely isn’t the experience we hoped they’d deliver. My team’s already on it—I’d love to personally make it up to you and anyone else by inviting everybody affected to tour my actual studio! Can’t wait to meet you all and my team is reaching out to everyone :D”
