Hina Khan has been quite vocal about her Stage-3 breast cancer. However, she landed in trouble due to her statement, wherein she claimed that her surgery lasted 15 hours, which was initially expected to end in 7-8 hours. After this, Rozlyn bashed the actress publically and called her claim an exaggeration. Now, she came up with proof dismissing Hina’s claims. Â
Rozlyn shared that she is not targeting Hina Khan
Recently, in an interview with ANI, Rozlyn said that she had no intention of targeting Hina as she had never met her in person. She has no intent of targeting a cancer survivor. Rozlyn revealed that she is a stage-4 breast cancer survivor, and had taken treatment from the same hospital and the same doctor.
Rozlyn shared that Hina made a wrong statement when she said her surgery took 15 hours, and now, she is avoiding the goof-up. In another interview with Zee News, Rozlyn shared that her own surgery took half the time. She was quoted as saying:
“I was at stage 4 and was treated in the same hospital. I underwent a mastectomy in half the time. How can she claim her surgery took double the time? I have spoken to oncologists, and I will ask them to comment on whether a 15-hour breast cancer surgery is even possible.”

Rozlyn further added that some cancer patients can’t even afford wigs, which Hina has been carrying off in style. She also noted that cancer survivors like Sonali Bendre and Manisha Koirala went out and shaved their heads to break the notion surrounding it. Rozlyn stated that Hina was doing the exact opposite. She said:
“Why is she always hiding behind fancy wigs? Celebrities have a duty to normalise hair loss so that women who go through this don’t feel ashamed.”
Rozlyn shared Hina Khan has been travelling the world which is not advisable for cancer patients
In another interview with ANI, Rozlyn criticised Hina for travelling the world and also appearing on Bigg Boss amidst her chemotherapy session. She shared that cancer patients are advised to practice social distancing as the immune system is not too strong during the process. Rozlyn added that Bigg Boss also allowed a cancer patient on the show. Â
When Rozlyn called Hina Khan’s 15-hour surgery remark ‘exaggeration’
Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rozlyn Khan talked about Hina Khan’s stage 3 breast cancer journey. Rozlyn revealed that she doesn’t believe in Hina Khan’s 15-hour surgery claim. She stated:
“In Stage 3, surgery first, chemotherapy and then it comes to radiation. These are the procedures…when I see Hina Khan saying 15 hours of surgery, I feel surprised. 15 hours of surgery of what? Mastectomy? When she came out of the operation theatre, she smiled for the family is bullshit. My own experience of post-mastectomy is that I was put to sleep for three days. No one gets into sense this fast.”
