Famous Youtubers, Samay Raina, Tanmay Bhat, and Bhuvan Bam were the latest guests on Amitabh Bachchan’s hosted quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. Samay, who is known for his top stand-up comedies, garnered the light in the show when he demanded a share from Amitabh Bachchan’s property. Samay known for his roast show, India’s Got Latent had taken subtle digs at the iconic movies he had watched of the actor.

Samay was on the hotseat with Tanmay where he told Big B that the one film he had seen of the veteran actor was Sooryavansham. Tanmnay, who was also on the hot seat, kept looking at Samay while Bhuvan was in the audience section. Samay revealed that Sooryavansham was the only movie that came on Set Max. He even questioned the actor about a scene from Shahenshah and enquired why his character tasted poisonous kheer for the second time. Amitabh did not spare Samay and said, “Rishte mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shahenshah.” Amitabh burst out laughing when he heard that Samay wanted to be like his son, Abhishek and wanted a bit of property share. Samay added:
“Aapne beta bana hi dia hai toh property mei thoda hissa?”

Samay, going further, told Amitabh that he always saw Big B’s bungalow, Jalsa, from the outside and even tried many times to enter. He confessed to trying to enter Jalsa once, only to be shooed away by the security staff. He claimed he and his grandmother were beaten by the security guards stationed outside Jalsa. Samay said:
“Woh toh aayi bhi nai thi sir. Unko dhundke peeta sir.”

For the unversed, Samay became famous after he became the winner of Comicstaan season 2 with Akash Gupta. Samay then started his controversial roast show titled, India’s Got Latent, which is very famous on YouTube. The Kashmiri Pandit boy, apart from being a YouTuber, is also a chess champion. He also used to stream chess matches on YouTube during the pandemic, and his razor-sharp comedy kept the audiences glued in their seats.
Reportedly, he completed his studies at Ramadevi Public School. Since his school days, he has been known for his humourous skills in daily situations. Reportedly, he completed his higher studies at Hyderabad Public School.
When Samay Raina reacted on being lashed when India’s Got Latent contestant, slammed Deepika Padukone’s mental health
For the uninitiated- India’s Got Latent is a show where comedians joke about different real-life situations, and a panel of celebs judge the same. A contestant named Bunty Banerjee joked about Deepika Padukone’s mental health and said, “Deepika Padukone also became a mother recently, right? Great, now she knows what depression really looks like.” The joke did not go well with the netizens, who slammed Samay and his show for making fun of Deepika’s mental health. Samay had retaliated, shared an Instagram story and wrote:
“To everyone who is outraging on Twitter, one request: Could you please outrage in my YouTube comment section so I get some ad revenue from the traction, at least.”
