Divyanka Tripathi reveals her due date
In an interview with journalist, Vickey Lalwani, Divyanka Tripathi confirmed the news of her pregnancy and revealed that she and Vivek are over the moon with the happy news. Revealing her due date, she stated:
“The baby is due in mid-June. Vivek and I wanted the baby only now, we tried and it happened. We are blessed. Our parents are ecstatic. I first broke the news to Vivek (Dahiya, husband) and then we dialled our parents almost immediately.”

In the same conversation, Divyanka also revealed that the couple has no preference yet to have a boy or a girl. Despite the rumours swirling, the couple managed to keep the news hidden from their fans. Revealing how she kept the news hidden for so long, Divyanka shared:
“I must say that we managed to hide it for six full months. Actually, I hardly stepped out and that did the trick. Baby shopping hasn’t yet begun, but it will soon. Okay, so you want to know how the news came out. Vivek went for an event and there some friends asked him why I haven’t been sent in public for so long. I think it all started from there, and then you know how speculation travels. The delivery will be in Mumbai.”

For the unversed, Divyanka Tripathi had met her husband, Vivek Dahiya, on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. They didn’t interact much initially and just exchanged pleasantries. The ceremony will be a private affair with close friends and family members in attendance. Speaking to Vicky Lalwani, Divyanka revealed that the couple is preparing for a small baby shower.
