Jason Bateman is heading behind the camera for his next Netflix project!
The 57-year-old Emmy winner will be directing the new crime thriller movie The Cackling of the Dodos starring Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell.
Keep reading to find out more…Based on an original screenplay by novelist Rye Curtis, “the story centers on small-town farmer George, who has a truly terrible day when he discovers a corpse chilling out in a grain bin, and is unwittingly forced into a chaotic, sloppy cover-up by his boss Denny, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Along with directing The Cackling of the Dodos, Jason will also be producing the movie through his Aggregate film banner, alongside partner Michael Costigan.
The Cackling of the Dodos is the latest project between Jason and Netflix. He previously starred in the hit crime series Ozark, the thriller movie Carry On, and most recently the crime limited series Black Rabbit.
Jason currently stars alongside David Harbour and Linda Cardellini in the HBO series DTF St. Louis. New episodes drop on Sundays at 9pm ET. Watch the trailer here!
