Meghan Markle is back in the headlines, and this time the whispers are extra spicy.
According to a jaw-dropping new Variety report that we’ve already been covering today that has Hollywood buzzing, the Duchess of Sussex allegedly took a very hands-on approach during meetings with Netflix… and not everyone is loving what they’re hearing.
Sources claim Meghan had a habit of talking over Prince Harry in high-stakes conversations, even going so far as to physically signal when she was about to take the reins. Yes, really.

More specifically, it’s this: insiders claim she would touch Harry’s arm or even his thigh to stop him from talking and cut him off so that she could jump in and steer the discussion herself. The implication? Meghan saw herself as the seasoned Hollywood pro in the room and wasn’t shy about acting like it.
And while some might call that confidence, others are clearly side-eyeing the dynamic. The Variety chatter suggests that her approach didn’t always sit well behind the scenes, especially as tensions reportedly grew between the couple and their streaming partner.
But before anyone crowns Meghan the ultimate bossy boots, her camp is pushing back HARD. Her attorney, Michael J. Kump, fired off a response that reads:
“…[the claim] seems calculated to play into the misogynistic characterization of her bossing her husband around.”
Meanwhile, Harry himself isn’t staying silent, either. The prince flat-out denied the claims, stating they were:
“…Categorically false.”
Still, the drama doesn’t quite stop there. Additional allegations suggest Meghan would sometimes “disappear” from meetings if she felt slighted, which reportedly left colleagues confused and, in some cases, frustrated. However, her lawyer insists there’s a much more relatable explanation: she’s a working mom juggling young kids at home, and sometimes real life interrupts Zoom calls. Honestly, who hasn’t been there?
